Winston Speedway. May 20th, 2016. A fantastic night of racing. First up was the Sprague's Auto Parts Young Guns division with the win going to #20 Jacob Lenz from Muskegon, MI. Second place went to #12 Hannah Thomas and third to Heidi Barnhard #3. The checkered flag for the debut of the Mini Wedge Association went to #96 Mike Lynn Jr. Next up was the Street Stocks with #74 Paul Namey from Ada, MI taking the win. #23 Rick Huisken took home second place and third went to #13 Derek Poland. Dan Wilson Jr #57 from Muskegon, MI was the victor for the Felice Michigan Dirt Stocks. Kyle Heemstra #11 took the second spot and #15 Nate Triick finished in third. Next was the feature event. The Michigan Dirt Cup Modifieds with the checkered going to #87 David Mielke from Gladwin, MI. #1s Andy Sprague went home in second and #47 Collin Thirlby in third. #23 Ryan Vanderveen from Six Lakes, MI took home the win for the Late Model division. #Kyle Borgman #72 finished in second and #87 Rich Neiser in third. #88 Greg Smith from Montague, MI took home his third win in a row for the Port City Chassis Michigan Dirt Modifieds. #22 Evan Shotko took the second position and #9 Lucas Krick took third. Finishing up the night was the ASAP Auto Parts Warrior class. #7 Ryan Hamm claimed the checkered flag again with #43 Randy Larabee grabbing the second spot and #18 Chad French finished third. Join us next week for the American Ethanol Late Model Series $4000 to win special in addition to Michigan Dirt Modifieds, Street Stocks, Michigan Dirt Stocks, Warriors and Young Guns.
